How We Started
“I was working as a nutrient neutrality consultant, and it became clear that to properly address the problem, we needed to step outside the normal consultancy mould and actually deliver solutions on the ground.

What We've Done
Gabriel wrote all but one piece of Natural England's nutrient neutrality guidance.
We built the UK's first self-serve platform for buying Biodiversity Net Gain units and Nutrient Credits online.
Our Herbert Farm scheme on the Tees combines three interventions, floodplain benches, vegetation and woody debris dams, in one flowing watercourse, a national first.
The Stodmarsh scheme in Kent is the largest Nutrient Neutrality scheme in the UK, providing mitigation that has allowed for the building of 5,000 new homes.

Shen sits between Greenshank and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, structuring blended supply models to meet their requirements. His background is in large-scale landscape restoration. Away from work, he's either with his kids or on a DIY project.

NbS Project and Operations Manager
Rob helps Greenshank's technical project managers deliver and deploy schemes across the country. He studied economics and spent six years in construction before moving into natural capital. He recently walked the South West Coast Path with his dog, in one go.

Declan works primarily on Greenshank's nutrient neutrality schemes, including its ditch management methodology. He studied geography at Bristol and spent six years in consultancy focused on nutrient neutrality and catchment management. He's a keen trail runner.
